Frequently asked questions

Billing & subscriptions

Evesong is free for the core calendar, to-dos, lists, and household sharing. Evesong Pro unlocks unlimited AI chat everywhere in the app and smart budget insights and tracking.

  • Pro Annual: $79.99 per year ($6.67/month — save 33%)
  • Pro Monthly: $9.99 per month
  • Free trial: 14 days on the annual plan, cancel anytime in iPhone Settings.

All Evesong subscriptions are billed by Apple and managed in iPhone Settings:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Evesong and choose Cancel Subscription.

If you cancel during the 14-day free trial you won’t be charged. After renewal, Pro features stay active through the end of the billing period, then revert to Free.

Open the Evesong app and go to Profile → Manage Subscription → Restore Purchases. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID that made the original purchase. Restore is instant and free.

Yes. When any member of a household subscribes to Pro, every person in that household gets Pro features for as long as the subscription is active. One subscription per household — no per-seat charges.

All Evesong charges appear on Apple receipts as “Evesong” or “EVESONG PRO.” Check iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions to review active subscriptions. If something still looks off, email support@evesong.io.

Privacy & data

Yes. Evesong uses Plaid to connect to your bank in read-only mode. Plaid handles authentication directly with your institution — Evesong never sees or stores your bank login credentials.

We only receive what’s needed for budget tracking: merchant names, amounts, dates, and categories. You can disconnect your bank at any time from Finances → Settings → Accounts. Disconnecting immediately revokes Plaid’s access and removes cached transactions from our servers.

No. When you use AI features, we send context (schedule, tasks, budget summary, chat messages) to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate a response. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

Full details in our Privacy Policy.

Open the app and go to Profile → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, household, and all associated data (events, tasks, lists, budgets, Plaid connections) within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.

To just leave a household without deleting your account, use Profile → Leave Household instead.

App & account

Open the app and go to Profile → Household → Invite Member. Share the 6-character invite code or the deep link. When they open the link on iPhone it launches Evesong and joins them to your household automatically. Invite codes expire after 7 days — you can generate a new one anytime.

  1. Force-quit and reopen — swipe Evesong up from the app switcher, then tap the icon again.
  2. Check your connection — Evesong needs internet to sync across household members.
  3. Update the app — open the App Store, search for Evesong, and tap Update if available.
  4. Restart your iPhone — a full power-cycle clears most sync issues.
  5. Still stuck? Use the form above or email support@evesong.io with your iPhone model, iOS version, and what went wrong.

Daily briefings require notification permission. Go to iPhone Settings → Evesong → Notifications and make sure Allow Notifications is on. Inside the app, Profile → Notifications lets you pick the delivery time (default 7:00 AM local).

Not yet. Today Evesong is iPhone-only. If Android or web matters to you, let us know at hello@evesong.io — demand shapes our roadmap.
